Fodder

Where the word “forage” refers to live plants that are grazed by animals, fodder is animal food that is collected and prepared by people, usually for their domestic animals such as cattle, goats, sheep, horses, and so on. Fodder falls into two general categories: plants that are specifically grown as fodder, and plants that are grown for some other purpose, with the by-product being used as fodder. There are many, many plants in both of those categories.
